Wiltshire Council contractors are about to commence works on the Pack Horse Bridge, near Whaddon.
The Packhorse bridge is Grade II listed, dated 1899 and currently carries Public Right of Way Footpath BGIF26 / MELW5 over the River Avon.

Melksham Without Parish Council maintains all the play areas in the parish, which are subject to a weekly visual inspection, quarterly more detailed written inspection by ROSPA qualified staff, and an annual independent ROSPA inspection.
